Master of Radiation Therapy offers advanced knowledge and skills for graduates with a background in science or health care to obtain a professional entry level qualification to work in the field of radiation therapy. This course integrates a 57-week clinical attachments which need to be completed over the two years. On this programme, students will gain knowledge and understanding of the scientific concepts and principles underpinning medical radiations science practice including optimisation of equipment, quality assurance and the biological consequences of ionising and non-ionising medical radiations. This course is not available to international students who are holders of an Australian student visa, for study onshore in Australia. However holders of some other categories of Australian visas living in Australia, and students studying off-campus by distance learning and living outside of Australia may be eligible for this course.

An Australian bachelor  degree (or equivalent) in science or health science including study of human anatomy and physiology with a credit (60%) average.
