In this regard, the role of universities in development needs to be continuously improved. The level of higher education offered to the community needs to refer to the variety and level of complexity of the development itself and the variety of community demands for the type of higher education in accordance with the opportunities, challenges, local, regional and international changes in the flow of globalization.
Trisakti University seeks to anticipate the above problems by developing a Masters Program in Electrical Engineering, which was established on August 16, 1993 until now. In order to improve the quality of services, on August 1, 2002, the management of the Electrical Engineering Masters Study Program was transferred to the management of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Trisakti University based on the Decree of the Chancellor of Trisakti University number 244/USAKTI/SKR/VI/2002 concerning the Transfer of Management of Masters Study Programs. in the Postgraduate Program to related faculties at the Trisakti University Scope. In full, the Faculty of Industrial Technology manages the Master of Electrical Engineering from 2005 to the present. The results of the evaluation and assessment of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) of the Electrical Engineering Masters Study Program at Trisakti University obtained an accreditation rating of B based on Number 1872/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/VI/2017 dated June 6, 2017 concerning Accreditation Status and Accredited Ranking for Masters Programs in Higher Education.
