The vision of Usakti is "to be a trustworthy, internationally-standard university while upholding local values in developing science, technology, arts and culture to improve the quality of life and society". Trikrama is the Usakti‘s educational philosophy, which aims to provide a foundation for every individual on campus by maintaining moral integrity, values, authority, and dignity, as follows: 1) pious, diligent, skilful as individual ethics; 2) sharpening, caring, nurturing as the relationship ethics among individuals; 3) noble, truthful, and sportive as group and community ethics.
Universitas Trisakti offers 47 study programs spread throughout 9 faculties including diploma, bachelor, master, doctoral, and professional degrees. Students can choose to register at the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy, Faculty of Landscape Architecture and Environment Technology, and Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. 
Universitas Trisakti is a private university that has had abundant achievements ever since its establishment in 1965, among others: possesses an A accreditation rank from BAN-PT, and ranks 27th of all universities in Indonesia. It is one of a few universities that possess five stars for Teaching Quality in the QS Stars assessment. More than 50% of the study programs have an A rank accreditation and some of them even qualified with Superior predicate. Some of the study programs obtain certification from AUN-QA and ISO 9001:2015. Universitas Trisakti has more than 136.520 alumni spread throughout from government to private sectors as entrepreneurs and competent leaders in their respective fields, which provides a huge contribution to human resources development in Indonesia. The alumni association has a strong, diverse, and effective network.
Universitas Trisakti has 18,110 active and diverse students coming from 34 provinces in Indonesia and 1,006 high-quality teaching staff who nurture the courses in accordance with their respective field of studies.
