The Mining Engineering Study Program was established on May 18, 1994, with the issuance of a Decree from DIKTI, namely: SK No. 134/DIKTI/KEP/1994, with the status “REGISTERED”. Then only in 2000, was accredited from the National Accreditation Board, with a B (Good) grade. In 2005 accreditation was carried out again by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education and has received accreditation certification with a rating of B (Good) by referring to SK Dikti No.08454/Ak-IX-S1-38/UTCLAP/III/2006.
In 2020, the Mining Engineering Study Program has applied for reaccreditation, where the Mining Engineering Study Program has again obtained accreditation with a B (Good) rating with the SK BAN PT Number: 6049/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/IX/2020 . The validity period of this accreditation is until September 29, 2025.
