Master in Accounting

The Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 2609/D/T/2001, dated August 6, 2001, became the basis for the establishment of the Master of Accounting Study Program as a Study Program under the Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University. The purpose of establishing the Master of Accounting Study Program is to fill the labor market needs for professional and accountable masters in the field of Accounting. This is in line with the needs of the institutions where students of the Master of Accounting Study Program work.

In 2005, the Master of Accounting Study Program obtained accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT), Ministry of National Education, Republic of Indonesia with a “C” rating based on the Accreditation Certificate number: 00499/Ak-IV/S2-005/UTCAKT/ V/2005, dated May 20, 2005 which is valid for 3 (three) years from the date of stipulation. Accreditation rating of “B” was obtained in 2009, when the Master of Accounting Study Program submitted an application for reaccreditation, based on the decision letter 016/BAN-PT/Ak-VII/S2/XII/2009 dated November 13, 2008. In 2015 to be exact on the 21st In February 2015, the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education re-issued the "B" accreditation title for the Master of Accounting Study Program FEB Trisakti University with a decree 056/SK/BAN-PT/Akred-M/II/2015.

The Master of Accounting Study Program has consistently obtained an extension of the license to provide education from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia since its inception until now. Based on a letter from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia number 1371/D/T/K-III/2009, dated March 10, 2009, the Master of Accounting Study Program has obtained an extension of the permit for the administration of the Study Program. The granting of this permit extension demonstrates the confidence of the stakeholders in the existence and usefulness of this program for efforts to educate the nation's children.

The Master of Accounting Study Program cooperates with various institutions. From 2006 until now, the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenhub) has trusted the Study Program to provide education to its employees with scholarships from the Ministry of Transportation. Furthermore, in 2012 a collaboration was established with the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia which believes in the Study Program to provide education to its employees and on February 4, 2014, Lemhanas RI also entrusted the Study Program to provide education to its employees. Finally, in 2015 a collaboration was established with the Forensic Auditor Professional Certification Institute (LSP-AF) as a Competency Test Place and curriculum adjustments so that there are 2 courses in the Forensic Auditor sub-concentration which are recognized as equivalent to Forensic Auditor Education and Training. The credibility of the Study Program is also reflected in the recognition from the world of work for the competence of graduates as seen from the performance achievements of graduates in various private and government institutions, including the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Banten Provincial Government, Bank Mandiri, Bank BNI 46, Bank Panin, PT. Pertamina, PT. Wijaya Karya, Angkasa Pura II, PLN and Astra International Group. The credibility of the Study Program is also reflected in the recognition from the world of work for the competence of graduates as seen from the performance achievements of graduates in various private and government institutions, including the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Banten Provincial Government, Bank Mandiri, Bank BNI 46, Bank Panin, PT.
