The Mechanical Engineering Masters Study Program has been operating since the odd semester of 2005/2006. Then the operational permit was extended based on SK DIKTI No. 3275/D/T/K-III/2009 is valid until August 28, 2012, and then the operational permit was extended again based on SK DIKTI No. 11983/D/T/K-III/2012 dated May 16, 2012 is valid until August 28, 2015. The Mechanical Engineering Master's Program has been accredited with  a B rating  based on BAN-PT decision  no. 4761/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/XII/2017 valid until  December 12, 2022 . Stating that the Mechanical Engineering Masters Program at Trisakti University has been accredited.

Please note, in the academic year 2014/2015 the Mechanical Engineering Masters Study Program also succeeded in screening and getting 10 new students. The student population of the Mechanical Engineering Masters Study Program is up to now ± 60 people, with details of 31 active students who fill the KRS, namely 28 people. non-transfer students + 3 active transfer students and 29 inactive students. The Master of Mechanical Engineering Study Program at Trisakti University in 2014/2015 succeeded in graduating 4 people with Master of Engineering (MT) degrees with an average Grade Point Average (GPA) = 3.84.

The total number of lecturers in the Mechanical Engineering Masters Study Program in the 2014/2015 academic year is 13 people. With details of 9 permanent lecturers and 4 extraordinary lecturers, so that when calculated by the ratio between DB: DLB is 1: 0.45 and the ratio between permanent lecturers and students is 1: 5.22 the ratio is quite balanced.

In addition to Lecturers, Human Resources (HR) in the FTI-Usakti environment are Supporting Personnel (TPG). There are 2 supporting staff in the Master of Engineering Study Program at FTI-Usakti who are seconded to the three Masters of Engineering Study Programs at FTI-USakti.

For the implementation of research activities, PKM and scientific meetings/seminars/discussions/workshops of the Mechanical Engineering Masters Study Program are coordinated with the Mechanical Engineering Study Program (S1). Thus, research reports conducted by lecturers of the Mechanical Engineering Master Program are recorded and reported to the Mechanical Engineering Study Program (S1).

The mechanism, implementation and quality control of research is carried out by the Faculty of Industrial Technology. The proposal is still coordinating with the Mechanical Engineering Study Program (S1).
