The Master’s Degree in Statistics and Economics offers advanced training in Statistics and Economics through courses in statistical methods and applications, Economics and Econometrics, in addition to other optional courses including: Machine Learning, Statistical learning, Data Mining, Risk Management and Mathematical Finance.
After completion of the first compulsory courses, which provide a common interdisciplinary training, students can choose among 3 different paths: Business Statistics, Data Science and Financial and Insurance markets. Internships and time spent abroad are features of the program.
The normal duration of the course is 2 years. 
Information for Non-Italian-Speaking Candidates
The admission test will be conducted entirely in Italian, with no other languages permitted. However, international students can receive technical support in English during the test. This support will be provided by one of the committee professors. To ensure this, we encourage non-Italian-speaking candidates to join the WebEx session specifically designated for non-Italian speakers, which will be announced shortly before the test session.
Please note that the official language of the Master’s programme is Italian. Therefore, students are expected to have a reasonable knowledge of the Italian language to effectively attend the courses and pass the exams.
