Although the department is relatively new, it has been dedicated to its development and has gained recognition from experts and scholars for its faculty, facilities, and curriculum planning. The innovative utilization of cultural assets is key to the next wave of economic growth and one of the most promising fields globally. Many countries are actively investing in this area, creating a high demand for skilled professionals. To stay ahead of global trends, our curriculum emphasizes diverse skill development. In addition to theoretical courses, we focus on practical training in areas such as popular culture, cultural and creative design, multimedia and digital design, and cultural industry management and marketing. Each summer, we offer internship programs to enhance students' hands-on skills and help them establish connections with industry professionals early, facilitating future career opportunities or advanced studies. The department offers both undergraduate and master's programs, providing a seamless educational pathway. Outstanding students may begin taking master's courses in their senior undergraduate year, allowing them to start their advanced studies ahead of schedule. Our development strategy is aligned with the latest cultural economic trends, national and international cultural policies, and workforce demands, focusing on two major fields:
Tangible Cultural Assets and Creative Applications – Primarily centered on archaeological cultural assets, combined with training in museum and local heritage center management, exhibition planning, and creative applications.
Intangible Cultural Assets and Creative Applications – Focused on everyday cultural heritage, including food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment. Training covers wellness industries, tourism, culinary arts, environmental planning, textile crafts, and community development.
