"The Department of Psychology at Fo Guang University boasts an outstanding faculty and fosters a warm and harmonious teacher-student interaction. It is one of the few psychology departments in Taiwan that offers both Clinical and Counseling Psychology graduate programs. Renowned for its rigorous teaching approach and well-equipped research facilities, the department provides a solid academic foundation. The undergraduate program includes core psychology courses and elective programs such as Cognitive Clinical Neuroscience and Social and Educational Counseling Psychology, ensuring students develop a strong theoretical base while integrating theory with practice. The master's program consists of three tracks: General Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Counseling Psychology, with a strong emphasis on research methodology training.
