school programs (B.A. (H) German) under ASFLK are designed to provide
students with a comprehensive education in the German Languages, Culture,
Literature and to offer them a well-rounded academic experience that fosters
language proficiency, critical thinking and cultural awareness. The B.A. (H)
programs in French and German at AUK are three years UG degree programs (till
the academic year 2022 –23) are designed to equipe students with the
linguistics skills, cultural knowledge and intercultural competence i.e.
necessary for success in today’s globalized world. These programs are open to
both beginners and advanced learners.
The curriculum for both B.A. (H) French and German is carefully designed to
ensure a balance between language proficiency, cultural understanding, and
academic rigor. The program comprises a variety of courses including language
courses / cultural and literary studies / linguistics / electives / projects.
The students of B.A. (H) French and German program receive a well-rounded
exposure to their target languages and culture through various means like
language immersion / cultural events / study abroad opportunities. We provide
a comprehensive and immersive educational experience that equips students
with the linguistics, cultural and critical thinking skills needed to excel
in a globalized world. Our well-rounded curriculum and exposure opportunities
ensure that our graduates are well prepared for diverse career paths in
