The MSc Future Vehicle Technologies at Aston University is designed for engineers ready to lead the shift towards electrified, connected and autonomous mobility. You will build strong expertise in areas such as hybrid and electric powertrains, alternative fuels, sensor systems, machine learning, and vehicle automation.
Through Aston’s CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) approach, you will gain experience solving real industry challenges and working with advanced simulation and modelling tools. You will also access specialist facilities, including our autonomous vehicle labs and prototyping workshops. Led by academic experts with strong industry links, the programme is built to develop confident, future-focused engineers with practical, hands-on skills.
You can also enhance your experience through Aston’s Professional Practice route, extending your degree to 22 months with a work placement or applied research opportunity.
