The course provides specialized skills in the area of Greek and Latin languages and literatures, of the historical contexts in which they developed and their tradition. Through the continuous contact with the ancient text, with the problems related to its production, interpretation, transmission, with its tradition in historical contexts, with the most recent methodologies of scientific research, the graduate is not only able to face with critical intelligence and methodological solidity issues of a philological, linguistic and literary nature, but also acquires fundamental transversal skills: he masters communication very well; is able to identify and solve problems; knows how to historicize, understand, enhance the differences between distant civilizations.
