Under the objective of training creative-convergence designer professionals in the fourth industrial revolution era, our department provides design programs such as an understanding of design, idea creation, design performance, practical design projects and others, while the education content applies the digital media technology to focus on design fields such as visual design, communication design, web design, 3D printing design, brand design, advertising design, fusion design, and others. Moreover, the Dept. of Design further accentuates the capability of KDU as a university with excellent employment in line with our mission to develop field-oriented enterprise specialized professionals and experts who have the comprehensive problem-solving ability and creative hands-on competence in design through the multidisciplinary knowledge exchange and course among the Dept. of Design and other related departments. With the basic directions of the design major as globalization, localization, and specialization, the Dept. of Design seeks to train professional designers who can quickly adapt to the rapidly changing society in the 21st century.
