The Dept. of Social Welfare has a specialized creative educational course to cultivate social welfare experts who both have professional knowledge and technology that can effectively intervene in an individual, family, group, community, and national level. In detail, the course aims to develop professional social welfare experts who possess knowledge and technology for promoting personality development and social skills improvement of humans, policy-level knowledge regarding unexpected risks in life or the suspension of income, insight in child welfare, welfare for senior citizens, physically or mentally disabled welfare, youth welfare, and other general social welfare activities carried out in the social welfare industry, and the abilities to research and analyze which are necessary when studying social welfare as a social science.
