The Dept. of Public Health Information Management aims to foster professional Human power who best suit the new paradigm of public welfare and the health care industry which goes through drastic changes. To do so, systematic education is provided from an educational course that focuses on developing knowledge for promoting students who possess expertise in public health management, hospital administration, analysis and the management of healthcare information, insurance claim reviews, and health education for improving national health. This department carries out the specialized education to employ into public organizations by completing the minor of public health insurance convergence. Besides, by establishing the advanced healthcare IT practice room and healthcare education laboratory, our department has been providing big data education and EMR program education for passing the national examination for becoming a healthcare information manager along with a basic medical course including human anatomy, health measurement, and health education that are specialized in obtaining certifications.
