The Bachelor's Degree Programme in Management and Artificial Intelligence at Luiss University responds to the growing demand for professionals skilled in artificial intelligence, big data management and digitalization, combined with solid business and entrepreneurial vision. The programme develops students to harness the potential of AI through an inquiry-based and hands-on teaching approach that prepares graduates for leadership roles in the digital economy.
The programme is highly interdisciplinary, combining quantitative STEM skills with economic and managerial thinking, enriched with a humanities course of students' choice. Importantly, a background in computer science is not required for admission, making the programme accessible to students from diverse academic backgrounds who are motivated to learn technology and business integration.
Academic Structure
The programme is structured over three years (180 ECTS) with an integrated curriculum that progressively builds technical and managerial competencies. Through an interdisciplinary curriculum integrating STEM disciplines with business and management sciences, the learning environment emphasizes practical use of digital technologies including machine learning and artificial intelligence to develop innovative solutions to modern business problems.
The first year establishes foundational knowledge in mathematics, introduction to computer programming, microeconomics, digital business management, statistical modeling, algorithms, legal systems in the digital age, principles of accounting and a computer science lab. Students develop computational thinking and understand how technology can be applied to business challenges.
The second year deepens technical expertise while connecting to business applications through the Grand Challenge project, machine learning, business law and ICT, data AI and organizations, data analysis for business, macroeconomics and artificial intelligence techniques. Students also study social network analysis, learning to apply graph theory and network science to real-world business problems.
The third year focuses on advanced applications and specialization through courses in business and marketing analytics, finance and financial technologies, AI and data management law, and databases and big data. Students select two elective courses allowing them to tailor their education to specific interests while completing a final thesis demonstrating their ability to integrate technical and business knowledge.

Selecting the right scholarship can be a daunting process. With countless options available, students often find themselves overwhelmed and confused. The decision can be especially stressful for those facing financial constraints or pursuing specific academic or career goals.
To help students navigate this challenging process, we recommend the following articles:
Yes. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency of B2 CEFR, certified by a recognised test issued no more than three years prior to application. Only the final level indicated on the certificate (B2, C1, or C2) will be considered; interim levels are not valid.
Candidates who completed their entire undergraduate studies in English will automatically be assigned a presumed B2 level. However, in order to be considered for a higher level (and any associated benefits), one of the accepted certificates showing that level must be uploaded during the application process.
Please note: if you apply for a programme taught in Italian, you must provide a certificate showing at least B2 proficiency in Italian at the time of enrolment.
