Admission Requirements

IELTS

Applicants for the programme will normally be expected to hold one of the following:

a second-class honours bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Cyber Security, or a related field with a strong quantitative background

a third-class bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, plus at least two years of relevant experience, subject to an interview at MEC

an Advanced Diploma, Diploma, or equivalent, plus at least six years of relevant experience, subject to an interview at MEC

If English is not the applicant’s first language, the applicant must hold IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 600, or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with IELTS 6.0 or equivalent may also be considered if they provide an official letter confirming that the medium of instruction at their previous higher education institution was English.
