Admission Requirements
Applicants without a GFP certificate will be placed at GFP Level 1. Those who wish to enter at a higher GFP level, or gain exemption from the GFP for direct entry to undergraduate study, must sit MEC Placement Tests in English, Mathematics and Computing. Placement will be determined by the results.
Applicants may be exempt from the Foundation Programme test by providing:
English: IELTS 5.5 or above, an equivalent TOEFL score, or another recognised English language certificate.
Computing: Proof of completion of ICDL, IC3, or an equivalent IT qualification.
Mathematics: A pass in TMUA Paper 1, or a score of 3, Pass, or Satisfactory in STEP Paper 1.
