Admission Requirements

IELTS

6+

Students seeking admission to the MSc Data Science programme must hold either an honours degree or equivalent qualification, or an unclassified degree in a relevant field together with relevant professional experience.

If English is not the applicant’s first language, the applicant must hold IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 600, or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with IELTS 6.0 or equivalent may also be considered if they provide an authorised letter from their previous higher education institution confirming that the medium of instruction was English.

Applications from holders of overseas qualifications, mature applicants, and applicants with relevant experience are welcome and will be considered on their individual merit. Applicants who do not fully meet the standard entry requirements may still be considered, subject to assessment of their qualifications and experience by Coventry University, UK, and final approval by MoHERI.
