Those who wish to pursue careers as archivists (digital and manual), digital asset managers, database librarians, electronic records managers, or metadata specialists in libraries, cultural institutions, government agencies, publishing houses, health care organisations, and consumer utility organisations will need this qualification.

Middle East College, in collaboration with the National Records and Archives Authority of Oman, is the first higher educational institution among the Gulf countries to offer this programme.
