Our LLB in English and European Law gives you the chance to experience life in a European country, study law in a different jurisdiction, and diversify your legal portfolio beyond the UK.This four-year degree follows the same module structure as the traditional Law LLB, with an additional year studying abroad. We have well-established relationships with universities throughout the European Union, including Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy and Greece, where tuition is taught in English; and in France, Germany and Spain, where tuition is taught in the native language.In your first year you’ll study the core principles of law and learn the skills you need to read and apply legal documents, such as Acts of Parliament, EU legislation and case reports. Your second and final years will allow you to choose from a broad range of specialist fields – such as human rights law, criminology, intellectual property and medical negligence.
