Biology is an English-taught Bachelor's programme. In three years you will discover biology from every angle in an international classroom. The Bachelor’s programme is focused on how you can put your knowledge into practice and gives you lots of personal attention. After the broad basis in the first 1.5 years, you can design your own profile. You can choose courses from seven learning trajectories within biology and medical biology. There are excellent and innovative research facilities. For example, the greenhouses, the Phytotron (root laboratory), and scanners for measuring brain activity. Education and research are linked, lectures by top scientists in their field.

Undergraduate tuition fees for 2024/2025 are €2,530 for EU/EEA-students.

Deadlines
Applications for both Bachelor's and Master's programmes open up 1 October. The deadlines are as follows:

non-EU/EEA students: 1 April (final deadline, visa assistance)
EU/EEA students: 1 July (final deadline)
Exception: Bachelor's programmes with a Numerus Fixus (selection procedure): 15 January

Admission requirements for Bachelor's programmes
High school diploma
Your diploma must be equivalent to a Dutch VWO diploma or a higher-level diploma. Additional requirements may apply, for example, a diploma from an academic stream, a specific level/course, or a certificate in Mathematics.

Command of the English language
When applying for admission to an English-taught Bachelor’s or Master’s programme at Radboud University, you need to have sufficient command of the language. There are various ways to prove this, sometimes through your diploma or citizenship and in other cases through a language test certificate (TOEFL iBT, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)).
