The purpose of the educational program is to train highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel capable of imparting knowledge and conducting independent scientific research, including experiments on pressing issues in modern physical science.

Upon successful completion of the educational program, students will be able to: Evaluate the functional operation of thermonuclear reactors and select suitable candidate materials for manufacturing their components and assemblies; Establish conditions and operational modes of plasma installations for applying composite coatings to enhance hardness, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance of structural materials; Formalize the results of scientific and experimental work as implementation acts, test reports, articles, monographs, and patents; Assess the commercial potential and technical indicators of research and development results for potential commercialization; Analyze the structure and phase state of materials using modern instruments and research methods, including electron microscopy and X-ray analysis; Produce well-structured scientific texts adhering to modern academic writing standards for scientific, educational, and methodological publications; Apply modern methods, technologies, and tools to enhance the relevance and quality of research and experimental work within the studied topics; Address scientific, engineering, and physical challenges related to radiation effects in the structural materials of power plants.
