The purpose of the educational program is to train competitive specialists of a new generation with foundational knowledge in chemical and forensic expertise, innovative approaches, and research skills for scientific, industrial, and expert activities.
Upon successful completion of the educational program, students will be able to: Apply physicochemical analysis methods to determine the structure, chemical, and physical properties of food products, microparticles, microfibers, soils, high-molecular compounds, combustible, explosive, and flammable substances and materials; Demonstrate knowledge in economics, entrepreneurship, cultural heritage, academic writing, tolerance, anti-corruption, human rights, psychology, and life safety; Utilize modern technologies to model chemical and technological processes, calculating experimental data with mathematical statistics to ensure the reproducibility and accuracy of analysis results; Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, sample collection of substances in various states of aggregation, and ensure proper preservation and storage to avoid contamination and degradation for substance identification; Assess the environmental risks of anthropogenic impacts from chemical and industrial production on the environment for expert research purposes; Perform chemical, forensic tracological, handwriting, and ballistic examinations using foundational knowledge of criminology, chemistry, criminal procedure law, and forensic expertise; Conduct expert studies of organic, high-molecular, biochemical, medicinal, and psychotropic substances, evaluating their impact on living organisms; Apply fundamental concepts, theoretical principles, laws, and regularities of physics, chemistry, and mathematics in professional practice; Use regulatory documents, including those for certification, standardization, and metrology, to select appropriate expert methods and techniques; Analyze natural environmental objects, mineral raw materials, food products, inorganic and radioactive substances and materials, and oil and gas processing industry products through classical and instrumental methods.
