The purpose of the educational program is to train competitive specialists of a new generation with foundational knowledge in chemistry, innovative approaches, and research skills to support scientific, industrial, professional, and practical activities.
Upon successful completion of the educational program, students will be able to: Demonstrate measures related to the standardization and certification of the physical and chemical parameters of chemical processes, incorporating mathematical and statistical analysis of experimental studies; Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of chemicals, natural and high-molecular compounds, nanomaterials, and nanostructures, following protocols for sampling and sample preparation; Compare chemical, physicochemical, agrochemical, biochemical, and radiological methods for sampling and analyzing environmental objects, mineral resources, metal processing, food products, and natural compounds; Assess environmental risks associated with chemical production, metallurgical processes, and the complete nuclear fuel production cycle; Utilize advancements in inorganic, organic, physical, colloidal, and biological chemistry for the analysis and synthesis of chemicals, nanomaterials, and nanostructures; Compare production and technological processes in the chemical and metallurgical industries to apply them in future professional activities; Demonstrate knowledge in economics, entrepreneurship, cultural heritage, psychology, life safety, academic writing, tolerance, anti-corruption, and individual rights, based on relevant laws and human rights standards; Apply modern technologies for modeling the structure and composition of substances, chemical and chemical-technological processes, for calculating experimental data in research and industrial activities; Solve various challenges in the chemical, metallurgical, petrochemical, nuclear industries, and rare and scattered elements technology, as well as in science and environmental protection, to adapt to new technological demands and requirements; Tackle non-standard production and technological problems to conduct research in various fields of complexity, including chemistry.
