Admission Requirements

A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in Computing or related fields as
accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in Non-Computing fields with a minimum
of FIVE (5) years of working experience in Computing or related fields must
undergo appropriate prerequisite courses as determined by the HEP; OR
A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in Non-Computing fields with less than
FIVE (5) years of working experience in Computing or related fields must
undergo a thorough rigorous assessment as determined by the HEP to identify the
appropriate prerequisite courses that equivalent to their working experience in
the Computing or related fields; OR
Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in
Computing or related fields recognised by the Government of Malaysia as
equivalent to the above requirement

After you register, the Faculty will assign you with a suitable supervisor based on your research areas. We would ensure that you are assigned one of our academic experts you would be interested to work with, and who would have the expertise to support your studies. The potential supervisor will help you plan your draft research proposal.
