The Master’s program in Neurosurgery is a three-year full-time clinical postgraduate program designed to prepare highly qualified specialists in the surgical management of diseases affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system. The program integrates advanced theoretical education with intensive operative training conducted in university-affiliated hospitals and specialized neurosurgical centers.
The curriculum covers traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, cerebrovascular disorders, spinal pathologies, congenital anomalies, neuro-oncology, and emergency neurosurgical conditions. Residents gain hands-on experience in microsurgical techniques, neuroimaging interpretation (CT, MRI), intraoperative decision-making, and postoperative neurocritical care.
The program emphasizes evidence-based surgical practice, patient safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to international neurosurgical standards. Research methodology and participation in clinical studies are incorporated to enhance analytical and scientific competencies.
Graduates are awarded a Master’s Degree and qualify as Neurosurgeons, eligible to practice in tertiary care hospitals, specialized neurosurgical centers, and academic institutions.
