The Bachelor of Nursing program at Tashkent State Medical University is a 4-year professional degree designed to prepare competent, highly skilled, and ethically responsible nursing specialists. The curriculum integrates fundamental medical sciences, clinical nursing practice, public health, patient-centered care, and modern healthcare technologies.
Students gain strong theoretical knowledge in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, and clinical diagnostics. During clinical training, students develop essential practical competencies in adult nursing, pediatric nursing, surgical nursing, emergency care, intensive care, rehabilitation, and community health nursing. Training takes place in university hospitals, clinical simulation centers, and leading medical institutions where students learn through hands-on experience with modern medical equipment.
The program emphasizes evidence-based nursing practice, patient safety, ethical decision-making, communication skills, teamwork, and leadership. Students are also trained in health promotion, disease prevention, epidemiology, and primary healthcare delivery, with special focus on working with diverse populations and vulnerable groups.
Graduates are well-prepared for careers in hospitals, clinics, emergency centers, rehabilitation facilities, and primary healthcare institutions. They are qualified to work as registered nurses, community health nurses, nurse educators, and clinical assistants. The degree also provides a strong foundation for further professional development, including Master’s programs in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, and related fields, as well as postgraduate specialization and research opportunities.
