The Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) program at Tashkent State Medical University is a 4-year professional degree designed to prepare competent, highly skilled, and ethical pharmacy specialists. The curriculum integrates core pharmaceutical sciences, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical technology, toxicology, and clinical pharmacy. Students develop strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills through laboratory training, simulation-based learning, and practice in university-affiliated hospitals and pharmaceutical institutions.
The program provides in-depth training in drug formulation, dosing, pharmaceutical analysis, biopharmacy, and quality control. Students learn Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and international standards of drug safety and efficacy.
Graduates are well-prepared for careers in community and hospital pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, drug research and development, clinical trials, and regulatory affairs. The program also provides a strong foundation for postgraduate study (Master’s, PhD) or specialization in industrial pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, toxicology, or biotechnology.
