The unprecedented historical circumstances of the 21st century, manifested in climate change, the effects of technological disruptions and advances in biotechnology present new challenges and dilemmas for humanity. At the national level, for example, there is a need to propose new governance schemes, the fight against poverty and corruption; We also need mechanisms to address exponential technological change and its multiple effects, for example on the future of employment, cybersecurity and technological inclusion. Students in this program will address these and other topics of public interest, having the opportunity to develop in an environment of academic excellence and simultaneously propose innovative solutions to various public problems that oppose the economic and social development of the country.
Given the above, this program seeks to generate knowledge from the field of Social Sciences and Government through high quality applied and transdisciplinary research, to create public entrepreneurship projects capable of influence some of the most relevant public transformations in the current environment, considering its challenges and opportunities. Thus, it seeks to provide a platform for the training of transformative leaders who will contribute to the solution of the most critical public problems facing our country and the world.
