Human Resource Management (Applied)

Human resources professionals shape and inform strategic and operational decision making. They are concerned with ensuring that organisations employ the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience, and ensuring that training and development opportunities are used to enhance performance and achieve objectives. Students will develop and enhance their human resource management skills and benefit from structured time to spend working with a business, on a work-based project, to enhance their skills and gain experience. Students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge for a higher level career in human resource management and allows students to develop employability skills and UK experience to further enhance their employability. Students will consider topics such as human resource planning, learning and development, leadership and business performance, and management level research and development.
