Ranked 1st in Ireland, 11th in the EMEA region and 29th globally in the QS Online MBA Rankings 2026, the Trinity Flexible Executive MBA is a two-year, part-time programme designed for experienced professionals balancing a busy career and personal commitments.
Delivered primarily through a virtual learning environment, with one immersive week on campus in Dublin each year, the programme combines the flexibility of online study with meaningful opportunities to connect with classmates, faculty and the wider Trinity community. Structured two-week learning blocks, live virtual lectures available on playback and continuous assessment allow participants to choose when and where they engage while working towards the same Trinity MBA qualification as students on the Full-time and Executive MBA programmes.
The curriculum develops the strategic insight, leadership capability and self-awareness required to lead in complex global environments. Alongside core business disciplines, students explore responsible AI, ESG, ethical leadership, sustainability and business analytics. They can also tailor the second year through a flexible mix of electives and company-based consultancy projects.
All students complete the Strategic Company Project, working in teams to address a live challenge for a real organisation and present evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders. Students may also choose a Social Enterprise Project or Scaling Project, applying their MBA learning to purpose-led organisations and fast-growing businesses.
An international cohort creates a global and collaborative learning environment in which participants work across cultures and build lasting professional relationships. Students also benefit from personalised career support and access to Trinity’s extensive alumni network throughout their careers.
