The programme explores how organisations can optimise decisions while balancing environmental, social and economic outcomes. Students develop expertise in areas including supply chain strategy, procurement, operations management, risk, sustainability and digital transformation. They also learn how to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and use data to evaluate and improve operational performance.

Combining academic theory with practical, hands-on learning, the programme enables students to analyse real supply chain challenges and develop effective, evidence-based solutions. Teaching is delivered through case studies, collaborative assignments and engagement with industry, helping students strengthen their analytical, communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

The programme is formally recognised by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Ireland, with Trinity Business School becoming its first approved Learning Partner and Academic Partner. Students complete ten taught modules and a research dissertation.

Designed as a conversion programme for students from a wide range of academic backgrounds, it prepares graduates for careers in procurement, logistics, operations, planning and supply chain management across sectors including technology, retail, manufacturing, consulting and transport.
