Be part of the new talent the sports industry is looking for with the Bachelor’s Degree in CAFYD in Málaga
The Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CAFYD), also known as INEF, has been offered as a face-to-face programme at our Málaga campus since the 2025–26 academic year.
At UAX, we maintain close links with leading companies, clubs and organisations in the sports sector. This enables us to train future professionals with the theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as the specific skills required by the market in areas such as sports coaching, management, high performance, applied technology, teaching, research and entrepreneurship.
Our academic programme, which is practical and geared towards the professional world, includes exclusive opportunities:
- Practical training from the outset: over 60 per cent of the course content is designed to enable you to apply your knowledge in real-life situations, developing versatile skills tailored to the sector’s demands.
- Partnerships with leading sports organisations: all students are guaranteed placements and work experience at leading sports organisations, such as Málaga CF, the Andalusian Sailing Federation, GoFit, the Andalusian Golf Federation and Unicaja.
- State-of-the-art facilities: on the Málaga campus, you’ll have access to the state-of-the-art facilities needed to practise and train your sporting skills, thanks to the dedicated spaces on our campus, as well as our agreements with local facilities such as the Ciudad Jardín Sports Centre, the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium and Inacua, amongst others.
- Learn with the technology used in the industry: you’ll work with professional analysis and assessment equipment such as COSMED’s K5 and OptoGait – tools used for physiological assessment, performance monitoring and the biomechanical analysis of athletes.
- Masterclasses: you’ll be able to attend masterclasses run by our key educational partners, such as Málaga CF or the Basketball Super Cup, and take part in projects outside the university setting.
