So how does our academic model work at UAX Málaga?
- Pre-clinical experiential placements: at UAX Mare Nostrum, you’ll prepare to handle a range of simulated situations, practising in settings such as operating theatres, intensive care units, consultation rooms and admissions wards. You’ll develop your clinical reasoning, hone skills related to delivering a positive patient experience, and take part in specific surgical training scenarios that will help you build confidence and skills before facing real-life situations.
- Clinical placements: our nurses are sought after by the most prestigious hospitals thanks to their more than 2,300 hours of high-quality clinical placements. You’ll tackle everything from routine situations to complex emergencies.
- Nursing of the future: at UAX, we train you through a practical approach linked to your future professional reality, using facilities equipped with the latest immersive and experiential simulation technology. You will use advanced digital tools and discover the potential of artificial intelligence applied to care and nursing practice. Technology will not only help you refine your care techniques, but also develop your clinical confidence, professional reasoning and decision-making skills in safe environments before coming into contact with real patients.
- You will study at the leading university for employability (Forbes list) and the second-best university for nursing in Spain (ConSalud 2024 ranking).
