UNITEC's doctor of medicine and surgery has his professional development based on ethical and moral principles, to contribute with scientific, philosophical and technological knowledge in the solution of the great health problems of the population, thus managing to raise the level of health and quality life of the Honduran population. Students in this program learn: The historical, philosophical and methodological foundations of medicine; Social, cultural, behavioral, psychological, ecological, ethical and legal aspects of health; Structure and function of the human body at the genetic, molecular, cellular, organic and apparatus and systems levels at all stages of the life cycle; Performs the clinical history, physical examination, pathophysiological knowledge of signs and symptoms, the ability to reflect and understand the ethical, psychological and humanistic relationship of the doctor-patient relationship; AND Recognizes and is able to discern actions in medicine, their indications and their efficacy based on scientific evidence.

Admission Requirements
Original high school degree and copy on both sides, in case you do not have the degree, you can bring the graduation certificate or a graduate certificate; Two passport size photographs; Copy of the identity card, if you do not have it, bring the original birth certificate and a copy; AND First monthly payment. Foreign students must also present: Academic record with signature and registration stamp of the university of origin; official transcript; AND Copy of identity card, passport or other official identification document. Additional requirements for the Medicine and Surgery career: Certification of studies of the last three years of high school; Academic index of 75%; AND Take the admission test.
