The objective of this career is to provide with excellence the comprehensive education of students based on the technical-scientific interdisciplinarity of nutritional food security, prioritizing values of respect for diversity, empathy and sensitivity towards the population, with proactive responses in the promotion of healthy lifestyles for the construction of a new society for Hondurans. Students in this program learn: Interpret the socioeconomic, cultural and political problems and the factors that determine food-nutritional security; Apply the biological and functional bases of the human body in nutrition processes in health and disease conditions; Analyzes the concepts of embryology, histology, anatomy and physiology to understand the organization of the circulatory, renal, gastrointestinal, hematopoietic, endocrine, nervous and respiratory systems; Recognize the importance of the humanistic vision in the management of nutritional health; AND Health promotion, prevention, protection and rehabilitation related to nutrition and food security.

Admission Requirements
Original high school degree and copy on both sides, in case you do not have the degree, you can bring the graduation certificate or a graduate certificate; Two passport size photographs; Copy of the identity card, if you do not have it, bring the original birth certificate and a copy; AND First monthly payment. Foreign students must also present: Academic record with signature and registration stamp of the university of origin; official transcript; AND Copy of identity card, passport or other official identification document. Additional requirements for the Medicine and Surgery career: Certification of studies of the last three years of high school; Academic index of 75%; AND Take the admission test.
