This 16-month program offers students more than 24 weeks of practical experience in a variety of teaching contexts. Students enrolled in this pathway will learn to teach adolescents in the middle years and beyond (Grades 6–9+) both in integrated and subject-specific contexts. The Bachelor of Education program offers extensive practical experience both inside and outside the classroom setting, including: two school-based practicums; community field experience; a 15-week internship; and many place-based learning opportunities. Join our community and engage in collaborative learning with instructors, classmates, practising educators, and community partners. You will graduate with a globally recognized UBC Bachelor of Education degree that is highly sought after by employers locally, nationally, and internationally.
