The course promotes joined-up thinking as an approach to design. This means that the relationship between artefacts and environments (and the systems and organisations in which they operate) can be re-examined. The course offers a taught core programme that helps you to develop a wide range of skills and strategies, including research into new technologies, future forecasting and design methodologies. Areas for exploration may include architectural and interior design, design crafts, digital design and product design. Students will receive specialist tuition through a combination of lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials.
