The course promotes joined-up thinking as an approach to design. This means that the relationship between artefacts and environments (and the systems and organisations in which they operate) can be re-examined. The course offers a taught core programme that helps you to develop a wide range of skills and strategies, including research into new technologies, future forecasting and design methodologies. A good Honours degree (normally 2.1 or above) or equivalent qualification in a chosen subject or a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience, demonstrating the ability to study at postgraduate level. Applicants will be required to attend an applicant day and bring a portfolio for assessment.
