Our MArch course emphasises design as a research practice. It understands the architect as someone whose cross-disciplinary role enables them to draw upon knowledge from various related disciplines, to develop effective strategies and models for sustainable practice. This may be within the context of the production of buildings, the spaces between them or the urban contexts in which they occur.  By the end, you'll be equipped to adopt a critical position within the profession and in wider society. You'll also be able to initiate and deliver projects grounded in design-based research, and continue a process of learning through practice-based experimentation and enquiry. The course carries full and unconditional prescription from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB) as satisfying the Part 2 criteri
