The research focus of the Gyula Petrányi Doctoral School is the normal and pathological immune regulation, molecular pathology and modern therapy of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, immunopathology of infections and immunodeficiency.  The regular members of the School are partly clinicians and partly basic researchers. The regular members have wide Hungarian and international reputation. Doctoral programs: autoimmune diseases, allergic diseases, rheumatology, infectious diseases and immunodeficiency. The University conducts its programs according to the European Qualifications Framework of the Bologna Process. Thus diplomas attained at the University of Debrecen are generally accepted in the countries of the European Union. Moreover, all our programs are accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Board which is part of the European Accreditation Board.
