Tuition fees

Not only do we have scholarships that are on a merit basis to honour top scorers; but we also acknowledge students with non-academic achievements such as sports, music, community services, leadership skills, and commitments to society, etc.
Once you have successfully submitted an application for admission, you will be considered for an entrance scholarship automatically. The result of both admission and entrance scholarship will be announced at the same time. No separate application for entrance scholarship is required. Selection is based on academic merits with consideration of non-academic achievements.
The University will also consider students for special scholarships which might require separate application. You are advised to refer to the details of all the scholarships on our Fees and Scholarships page.
After you are admitted to the University, you may apply for other HKU scholarships. You may be awarded a merit-based scholarship based on your work in the University.
