This program of study is designed for students possessing a bachelor’s degree in jazz studies-jazz voice or jazz vocal performance. The students have opportunities to rehearse and conduct a major performance jazz vocal ensemble and gain an understanding and knowledge of jazz pedagogy. The graduates are working in many areas of performance in the music industry as solo recording artists, session singers, published jazz vocal and choral arrangers, professional vocal ensemble members and freelance musicians.
