Operations management is a field concerned with managing operations and the people who provide services and goods. It also includes the management of service establishments such as restaurants, transportation companies, shops, and hotels. This specialization requires students to have an inclination for businesses that face many of the challenges of today's rapidly evolving world, and to apply acquired knowledge such as analytical methods, statistics, computer applications, economics, and management to solve various problems.
