Physics is considered the most advanced of the physical sciences. For this reason, physics is often used as a model for scientific methods and as an example for other quantitative sciences. Physicists work in a variety of fields. A graduate degree in physics opens the door to careers as innovative researchers in industry or as researchers and teachers in colleges and universities.

The Physics curriculum aims to provide students with the following:
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of physics based on an appropriate mathematical foundation.
  • Experience in solving physics problems, both in the classroom and in advanced educational laboratories.
  • In-depth knowledge of the use of laboratory equipment to obtain data, apply mathematical methods, and use computing to extract conclusions from data recorded in the field of physics.
  • In addition, it develops mental skills, in-depth thinking, and modeling in dealing with data and presenting it in the form of written reports or through oral and presentational discussions

Graduate Fields
Physics graduates are expected to utilize their knowledge and experience in the petrochemical industry, some areas of mechanical and civil engineering, communications, gas and energy industries, as well as in hospitals, food and canning industries, and work as supervisors in many fields and government and industrial departments.
