Thank you for your interest in the undergraduate program in the UTA Department of Mathematics! We offer programs leading to either a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics. The B.S. degree may also be acquired with concentration in of one of these options: actuarial science, applied mathematics, pure mathematics, statistics, or secondary teaching certification through the UTeach Arlington program.
The B.A. in Mathematics degree is intended for those students seeking a traditional liberal arts education with an emphasis on mathematics. It provides students with a broad overview of modern mathematics.
