The B.S. in Biology is recommended to those students desiring to become professional biologists, biology teachers in secondary schools, to enter certain allied-health fields, and those intending to continue their education in professional schools of medicine or dentistry, or pursue advanced graduate study and research at the master’s or doctorate level.
