To be eligible for the Master of Accounting program, you must have graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Accounting and Finance programs. Your path to the CPA designation requires the completion of prerequisite education and professional program requirements. Your AFM or Math/CPA or Biotech/CPA + MAcc degree fulfills the CPA academic erequisites, up to 16 months of the required 30 months of relevant CPA practical work experience, the 2 CPA core integration modules, 2 professional areas of study. All 4 CPA elective modules are offered during your MAcc program and the 2 CPA capstone modules. The MAcc is not open to students who have completed an undergraduate degree outside of the School of Accounting and Finance.

Minimum requirements: (1) Successful completion of any of the following University of Waterloo four-year Honours undergraduate degrees with at least a 75% average across all courses taken in the last three years: Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management, Bachelor of Math/Chartered Professional Accountancy Studies, or Bachelor of Science/Chartered Professional Accountancy Studies; (2) Completion of a set of Accounting and Financial Management (AFM) courses with at least a 75% average across all courses, calculated using the grade from the first attempt at a course in the case of repeated courses. // Application materials: (1) Transcript(s). // For further information on admission requirements please check with the University for entry.
