Program Objectives: To understand human biology at the cell, tissue and organ system levels of organization. To understand the homeostatic processes that underlie physiological mechanisms of humans. To understand the application of scientific principles to the methods that lead to the improvement of health and the prevention of disease and disability. To understand the principles and mathematical analysis of genetics. To communicate effectively through oral and written reports. To develop quantitative problem solving skills and data analysis.
